DISH Network Blackouts- Definition

DISH Network Blackouts

A Dish Network blackout is a period where the signal communication between the satellite and the antenna is lost and no signal is able to appear on the T.V screen. A blackout can occur because of any number of reasons, including solar storms and sunspots, which release cosmic particles that interfere with satellite communication. Blackouts are not that common with satellites, and generally they do not last for a prolonged period.
